For Harper's Bazaar's September issue, London-based photographer John Akehurst, photographed statuesque British model Stephanie Rad. In the issue, Rad portrayed an alluring secretary with classic neutral ensembles and elegant yet bold, gold, diamond and pearl pieces. The 9 to 5 shift has never looked so effortlessly chic.

Yours Truly
Hello, I'm Stapha. There, that's better.
Meet the two most important people in my life:
Mom and baby brother, Alex (not exactly in that order)
Here they are again, separately (and in the correct order)
I'm a freelance writer, reporter and vehement literary enthusiast -- darn proud of it.
When my speedy feelers aren't clashing against the keys of my laptop, I'm either lounging beneath the concave of Bryant Park's southwest porch with Pride and Prejudice fused to one hand and a few Witchcraft cookies weighing down the other -- Or, scouring the city for simple, fortuitous pleasures.
Whether it's savoring a decadent morsel from one of Jacques Torres' quaint little chocolate factories, strolling down the narrow cobblestone streets in the West Village, or tagging along for one of Alex's video-game excursions -- I'm happiest when making a connection with the people or elements in my surroundings. For it is those little series of unexpected pleasures that are ultimately embedded deep into the well of our fondest memories.
Here's to lasting memories and sharing them with the people we love!

About
Young Ernest Hemingway
It’s always fascinating to catch a glimpse of a successful
individual’s humble beginnings, especially a distinguished figure like Nobel
Peace Prize-winning American author, Ernest Hemingway. Here he is fishing, quite
possibly in his home town, Oak Park, Illinois -- sporting his over-sized straw hat and all.

Dinner At Peter Luger Steakhouse
Steak for two: enormous portions
Monstrous bacon
Fresh rolls with two chunks of butter
Gold chocolate coins
I had dinner at the much venerated Peter Luger Steakhouse last week for Yves 30th birthday. We ordered steak for two, with a few yummy sides, french fried potatoes, and four slices of their sizzling super-sized bacon. Read my review for Peter Luger here.
